Chrstmas Eve…glancing out the window as I think of where I want this to ‘go’…there are deer in the back pasture crunching through all the fallen leaves. All but the cedar trees are bare and the yard is full of acorns, which means it is fully ‘sweater weather’!
I have finished several sweaters this year so, added with those from previous years, I can wear a different one each day for 3 weeks. Deschainx2, Equador, Tegna, All The Love, Weekender, Drift, Shleeves, Sandhurst, Obsidian, Snowflake, Bamboo Pop Top, Cable Scarf Cardi, Rib & Lace Cardi, and several others I don’t have record of in Ravelry. Plus, I have a Viajante, Marettimo, and a Boxy Chevrons on the needles…so close to finishing.
Oh, and gift knitting…NY-daughter wants a hat and scarf, scarf is started, designing on the fly; son & gf are getting mitts; VA-daughter will get a to be determined shawl; I still owe a baby blanket to youngest grandson and one for the one on the way.
All this knitting while real life continues…
House renovation was completed by Father’s Day; I had 6 weeks of bronchitis over the summer; a hectic work schedule; spending time with family and friends included a family funeral in the Fall and the death of a close friend a few weeks ago; traveling to UVA right before Thanksgiving so M could visit a specialist resulting in a followup and referral for New Year’s Eve. Our plan to snow-bird in FL this winter is on hold until we see where the diagnosis takes us. The 5th grandchild is due this Spring and the others are 10, 7, 5, and 1.5.

Looking forward to the adventures 2020 brings.
