Read MoreMy new start for 2022…Here We Gnome Again by Sarah Schira. Yes, the hat is fiddly. But, how cute? Ice blue acrylic of unknown origin seems a perfectly cold January color. The alternative is to work on my Starflanket which is in the naughty corner. I don’t like the way the inc/dec sections of the […]
Read MoreThree finishes, and a first. The Bias Pink Shawl is yet another iteration of my standard recipe shawl…a wardrobe staple. CO3, inc up one side almost to desired length/yarn usage, change from stockinette to (yo,k2tog) just long enough so that yarn-chicken isn’t necessary to complete a stretchy BO. Knit some more socks… I’ve just about finished a Tegna from some nice raspberry colored cotton, the back is done on another Deschain in green linen, there is another pair of socks in progress in the car… And I’m […]
Read MoreSpending a moment on this gorgeous afternoon with my feet up on a rail….a glass code by….and a good book! Dreaming of new projects and contemplating those close to being finished. What are you knitting today?
Read MoreAs the weather turns cooler I definitely want to knit warmer things! I finished my All the Love in 8 days…it’s blocked and modeled (with the ends still sticking out). Playing yarn chicken necessitated short sleeves and a slightly shorter body but it is so soft I’m looking forward to wearing it! My first gift […]
