Read MoreMy new start for 2022…Here We Gnome Again by Sarah Schira. Yes, the hat is fiddly. But, how cute? Ice blue acrylic of unknown origin seems a perfectly cold January color. The alternative is to work on my Starflanket which is in the naughty corner. I don’t like the way the inc/dec sections of the […]
Read MoreThree finishes, and a first. The Bias Pink Shawl is yet another iteration of my standard recipe shawl…a wardrobe staple. CO3, inc up one side almost to desired length/yarn usage, change from stockinette to (yo,k2tog) just long enough so that yarn-chicken isn’t necessary to complete a stretchy BO. A lovely layer that will go with […]

Read MoreIsn’t the Basket Weave sweater is progressing nicely? Its just a bit boxy like a comfy sweatshirt. As usual when designing on the fly, the first sleeve has been reworked…this is #4, to get the decrease slope correct. Sunday evening I was about 9″ in, when I realized I had a sleeve that would fit […]
Read MoreEverywhere you turn, everything you hear…its all about current pandemic conditions. I’m done! I don’t want to hear or see anymore, leave me alone and let me knit in peace, take care of my husband, and work from my home office. Call me when I can go out again! On any given weekend, I would […]
Read MoreI’ve already knit one I’m calling Orange Sherbet, a third set of socks are on the needles, a Plum Boxy is keeping me warm. I can’t wait to wear my Marettimo in Pink when we get some warmer weather! Wow, Ravelry says that’s already 4,140yds used this year….that’s a lot of stitches, and what a […]
